Receive SMS Text Messages (Texts) on a Virtual Hosted SIM
A Virtual Hosted SIM is great way to provide Text in capabilities for your business. The service is quite simple, you supply us with a contract GSM SIM (With global roaming enabled) and we will arrange for it to be hosted. Incoming messages will be processed and either forwarded to you as email, HTTP or stored on our database.

Why Virtual SIM Hosting?
Previously, the domain of large corporations, inbound text messaging services have generally been out of the price bracket of most small companies, with the registration of Short Codes costing anywhere up to £800 a month and keywords on shared Short Codes from £50 a month. Being able to communicate with staff, customers or running SMS marketing campaigns, used to be an expensive luxury for most small businesses. Not anymore
 Having your own SIM hosted allows your business to accept inbound SMS message on your own number. If at any time you want to use another supplier for your inbound SMS needs then your can keep the same number. With a Virtual Mobile Number or UK Geographic Number this is not possible as numbers are returned to the pool and can be acquired by anyone else. Having your own SIM also allows you to internationalise inbound numbers, so if you want a US number or a number on any European Network to receive SMS this is possible.

Worldwide Coverage
Unlike our Inbound SMS Geographic numbers that can only receive SMS from UK mobiles, your Hosted SIM can accept SMS from virtually all Worldwide networks (check your network operator for more info). SIM can be on any International GSM network so your foreign customers will think they are Texting a local number.
2-way SMS
When coupled with the multi-faceted FAB SMS Addin for Microsoft Outlook a program that sends SMS Text Messages (Texts) directly from Outlook, your Hosted SIM can receive the SMS replies straight back into your email inbox providing International 2-way SMS.
Received SMS Messages can also be replied to by following a link on the email you receive which takes you to secure webpage where you enter your response message and send to the originators mobile. A SMS Sending account is required for this facility.
SMS To Email
So what does the email you receive look like and what information do you see? The infomation you get includes the message of course but you also receive the originators number, the number that it was sent to (in case you have more than one Hosted SIM or a Virtual Mobile Number or Geographic number on your account. How do I Buy?
To have your SIM Hosted, contact your network provider to obtain a SIM with Global Roaming enable on a contract and post this to us using the details on our "Contact Us" page. With your SIM you can either include an order form with your payment or pay online by clicking "Buy Now" below. To get a printable order form complete the checkout process and choose an offline payment method. On receipt of your SIM & payment we will provide you with a scheduled install and testing date and activate any optional extras you have purchased.
